In Dash Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter

If you have installed a Manifold Water Injection System, such as the Aquamist System 2S similar to the one installed on the Lotus Esprit V8 highlighted in another area of this site, you will want this meter. Water injection is an alternative and very effective method of in-cylinder cooling. An accurate Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter will indicate how much water is being injected into your inlet manifolds. It is an absolute must if you are doing any kind of fuel related performance upgrades to your car. Such as Supercharging, Increasing Turbo Boost Settings, Adding Boost Controllers etc. This unit takes the output signal from the Water Injection Solenoid and displays the results on 10 LEDs. The LEDs Light Up as the Water Injector(s) Opens. They Display 10% - 100% Water Injector Duty Cycle. They ramp up until they are all on at 100% duty cycle which is wide open. It lets you know whether your car is running at it's optimum from a Water Injector perspective. If they are always running over 80 - 90%, you may need larger water injectors or a modified setup for your Water Injection Controller. You can mount the LEDs anywhere you like. They can be fitted right into the car's dash board if purchased in one of their kit forms. The complete circuit board is so small it can easily be concealed. This Meter used in combination with our Air Fuel Meter and Fuel Injector Meter (Also available and described in another area of this site) gives you all the information you need to ensure a perfectly tuned Air Fuel, and Water Delivery System. In addition they look great on your car's dash.

If you are not handy with a soldering iron, you can order the complete unit in a small slim enclosure that can be attached to your dash with double sided tape.

• Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter Kit of Component Parts & Plan Set ($55.00)
  This kit includes a complete set of component parts. You will need some Soldering Skills in order to complete this project. You will also require a Soldering Iron, Solder and Miscellaneous Pieces of Wire.
   

  • The Kit includes: Set of Instructions, a complete set of component parts, a 12" length of Indicator hook up ribbon cable, 10 LEDs in the size and color combination of your choice comprising of Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs. (Blue LEDs are available in the 1.8mm styles only, at extra cost) The default size color selection is; 5mm LED Indicators, 3 Red, 3 Green, 2 Amber & 2 Yellow LEDs. Indicators are available in 4 different styles and size selections.

• Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter Kit With Ready Built RS PCB & Loose LEDs ($65.00)
  This kit includes a Completed Water Injector Duty Cycle Control Unit (FIDCCU) PCB and 10 Loose LEDs. It also comes with installation and operational instructions. You will need some elementary Soldering Skills in order to complete this project. You will also require a Soldering Iron, Solder and Miscellaneous Pieces of Wire. All you have to do to complete the project is install the LEDs in your dash or desired location, wire the LEDs to the PCB, connect the power and Injector Signal. This involves the minimal amount of soldering of any of the kits.
   

  • The Kit includes: 1 Completed and fully tested custom WIDCCU PCB with all components soldered in place, 10 loose LEDs in the size and color combination of your choice comprising of 1.8mm, 3mm or 5mm Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs. (Blue LEDs are available in the 1.8mm styles only, at extra cost) The default selection is; 2 Red, 5 Green, & 3 Yellow LEDs and installation and operation instructions.

  The following services are available for those who wish to do the In-Dash installation but would require some assistance with certain parts of the Installation. These services are only available for the following cars:

  • Drill Tachometer Dial for 10 Indicators ($30)

  • Dry Transfer Lettering $15

  • Bond All 10 Indicators into place (Level I Bonding) & Solder Common Anodes Together ($60)

  • Complete installation of the into the Bare Tachometer Dial or Complete Instrument Cluster ($195)

   

• Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter Meter Complete in ABS Box ($75.00)
  This is a Custom made completely finished Water Injector Duty Cycle Meter mounted in a convenient compact black enclosure approximately 3.1" x 1.6" x .7". The 10 LEDs can be ordered in the color and size combination of your choice comprising of 3mm or 5mm, Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs. The default selection is; 2 Red, 5 Green, & 3 Yellow LEDs. It comes complete with simple installation and operation instructions. All you have to do is find a suitable location for the meter, wire up the power and Water Injector signal wire and your done!
