In Dash PSI Boost Gauge Kit (Any Vehicle, Up to 50 PSI Utilizes External Boost Sensor)

The kit includes everything you need in order to build your own accurate fully functional turbo boost gauge. It takes the signal from a supplied Computer Grade pressure sensor and monitors the boost pressure "Real Time".  Results are reported on 20 LED indicators with an accuracy of approximately +/- 0.250 of a PSI when installed and setup correctly. Available in any Pressure Range from 1 - 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, & 50 PSI.

The Programmable Peak Hold ^tm Option is available on request. It includes user selectable modes configured with an external switch, potentiometer and/or a fixes resistor. A single indicator remains on for a programmed amount of time indicating the Peak Boost Pressure reached. If a higher boost is recorded before it is reset it moves to the higher reading. Spikes can easily be monitored and boost peaks tracked efficiently.

Programmable Peak Hold Modes Available:

• Indefinite Delay/Decay (Peak hold remains on for a long time before slowly decaying)

• Pre-Set Delay/Decay (Peak hold remains on for a fixed time before decaying)

• Variable Delay/Decay (Peak hold is adjustable via an external potentiometer)

• Reset (Peak hold is reset to zero by an external switch)

• No Peak Hold (Peak hold feature is switched off by an external switch)

Indicator colors can be customized in any combination of Red, Green, Yellow, Amber & Blue.

The unit also includes custom "Dimmer" technology that automatically dims the indicators for night time driving to an adjustable pre-set level,  when you turn on your car's master light switch. The night time brightness can be adjusted to suite individual requirements.

An accurate "Real Time" boost gauge is an absolute must, especially if you have done any non stock performance upgrades to your car. Such as; installing a new chipped ECU, increasing turbo boost settings, adding boost controllers etc.  Calibration is easy to do and default components are provided for sea level operation. The circuit is flexible enough to be configured for any altitude if needed. You can mount the Indicators anywhere you like. But we recommend putting them in the existing tachometer dial in your car's instrument cluster.  This is not too difficult to do and is discussed in detail in a dedicated articles on this web site under specific vehicles.  Yes, they can be fitted right into the car's dash board. Custom Dash Drilling Templates are available on request. The control unit is so small it can easily be concealed behind the dash.

  This kit includes the following: 

  • 1 completed, calibrated and tested Digital Boost Control Unit (DBCU) with "Dimmer" technology

  All you have to do to complete the project is install the Indicators in your dash or any other desired location, wire them up to the PCB, connect the power, dimmer wire to the light switch and connect 1 1/8" NPT pipe from your vacuum line to the provided MAP sensor, and you are ready to go.
